What’s in a name? Underdog Academic Consulting was born from the idea that no matter the setbacks or challenges you face, if medicine is your calling then together we can come out on top.
Our founder, Dr. Martin, has long considered herself an underdog. After attending Boise State University as a Division One Athlete, she continued her education at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences. Despite the ongoing challanges Osteopathic Physicians face today, she scored in the top 80th percentile in the nation on her medical board exams and secured a top five nationally ranked residency in the field of Anesthesia.
